Meredith Simonds
Meredith Simonds was born in Oregon to a nomadic family that never spent more than a year or two in any one place. From California to Rhode Island, and nearly a dozen states in between, the colorful places she saw and the diverse people she met opened her mind to just about anything. In fact, Meredith graduated from college with no clear vision for what she wanted to do, unable choose from the wealth of possibilities. Thankfully, writing chose her -- at an early age actually, but only in her late twenties did it naturally manifest into a career. As an environmentalist and animal activist, Meredith lives a vegan lifestyle. In addition to making millions in screenwriting, her ultimate dream is to open a sanctuary for rescued dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, cows, pigs, chickens and horses as an educational field trip destination and adoption center for schools and families.
