It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to tell you organic food is better for you, which is more common sense than anything else. After all, trace chemicals, fertilizers, antibiotics, pesticides and anything else synthetic are not going to improve the taste or the quality of the foods you eat or drink. As I said, common sense alone makes me come to that realization. But when common sense can also be correlated with cold hard facts, you’ve got yourself a real winner there. That’s what has just happened to organic milk.
Newcastle University did some extensive testing on organic milk and guess what they found? They discovered organic milk contained about 60 percent more linoleic fatty acid (that’s the good kind), about 39 percent more omega 3 fatty acid, the kind so prevalent in fish oil, and a whopping 67 percent more antioxidants and vitamins than regular processed type milk. You’ve got to love that!
Those are just the hard numbers right there and they prove what common sense dictates: organic milk is better for you then the non-organic types out there. If you let your taste buds do the deciding, you wouldn’t have any doubt in your mind either.
If you have not had a glass of organic milk, you owe it to yourself to have one. Compared to regular milk, the difference in taste is nearly astounding. This is one of those things where someone might actually think that, “Hey, milk is milk.” But the truth is, all milk is not the same.
The fact that organic milk has now been proven to be a healthier choice is good for the body and the mind. The taste with all of this goodness will blow you away! Personally, I drink organic milk exclusively, save the glass or two I have when I’m out of the house.
The best thing about all of this is that in simply buying and drinking organic milk, you don’t have to change a thing and you get all the health benefits to boot! It’s just plain good for you and good tasting! Anytime I find something that’s good for me with a better taste, you don’t have to tell me twice.
