Solid state computers are coming. Hard drive discs are going to be replaced by chips and cards with no moving parts. Eco watches that run off of a solar cell and not batteries have been introduced by Citizen, and others will surely follow. As far as I know, there is no such thing as a rechargeable watch battery. Every time one of the batteries goes bad, it ends up in a landfill. As we all know, batteries leach all sorts of dangerous chemicals into the soil. Battery-less watches solve this problem completely.
These are just some of the energy and green type of gadgets that we, as consumers, have to look forward to in the very near future. Stay tuned for more green gadgets and advances like this. The best is yet to come!
